What ethical and environmental policies do you adhere to?

The nature of our business means that we rely heavily on the printing industry to meet our needs. We’ve therefore set up partnerships with printers and repro houses to ensure that we use environmentally friendly materials and where possible, from sustainable sources. We also advise on accurate print-runs to ensure that waste is avoided.

Our company is committed to reducing carbon emissions and we regularly review our carbon management process. We help to offset our carbon emissions by making an annual donation to The Carbon Neutral Company for the purchase of trees to be planted in the UK.

We also stay up-to-date on environmental legislation and recommendations, as well as CSR issues so that we remain well informed.

I'm a start-up with limited funds, will the quality and service that you provide differ?

We believe in offering the same standard of service for everyone and are happy to discuss your budget and requirements so that you can make affordable choices.

What formats do you work with?

Ideally client briefs and additional information should be provided in electronic form, using a word processing package such as Word, or a PDF. We also accept Quark and Appleworks files. Each job is unique so contact WORDetc in the first instance to discuss the best way to proceed.

Can you write something from scratch for me?

WORDetc uses experienced and professionally qualified writers who all have vast experience of writing within both the public and private sectors. We would manage the process, create the brief and proofread the final draft before submitting it for approval.

Why do I need to get my work proofread or copyedited?

WORDetc provides a comprehensive proofreading and copy-editing service. In many cases it is helpful to have a fresh pair of eyes look at the text to check it for readability and structure. This is particularly important with the ever-widening use of the internet and ensures that the text will be easily understood by a wider audience. If you require a proofreader who is an expert in your area of work WORDetc can still assist you. Please send an email with basic details for a fast and helpful response.

What about confidentiality?

Client confidentiality is protected at all times, right from the initial enquiry. Often clients choose to send over a sample of the work to enable an accurate quotation to be given. Any work sent to WORDetc is protected and will not be shared with any third party without express permission. Please see Terms & Conditions for a full copy of the company’s terms of business.

Can we meet up to discuss the project?

Yes, of course. The initial meeting would be free but subsequent meetings will be charged as part of the job on an hourly rate. Where clients are based outside of Norfolk the cost of travel may also be charged.
